In late 2022, the NSWG developed and launched an online survey to gather input from our members to guide future activities and opportunities. Many thanks to those who participated!
The report results are now here
In a nutshell, this is what the respondents were most interested in (over 70% of responses);
Learning how to collect native seed and identify native flora;
Native seed collecting;
Native plant walk and talks;
Native seed cleaning and saving sessions;
Volunteering to collect seed to donate to the native seed bank,
Growing natives at home to share with other members; and
Focusing on herbs, forbs and shrubs for collecting seed from, accessing seed of, or to grow from seed.
It’s so great to know what things the community is interested to make this group more focused in the future. CSS will take this insight from our members into our future native seed programs. Read the full Native Seed Survey Report HERE

The winner of the survey draw will be announced via our socials and in the next newsletter.
